Hello Parents & Students!
Can you believe it? NINE more days left of school! SINGLE DIGITS! We can do it!
Topics this week:
Reading, Writing, and Grammar:
We will have a final reading test this week on reading comprehension skills.
As you may have heard, we are starting a new project!
A letter was sent home on Friday about our upcoming Market Day project. We have been reading a novel called, Lawn Boy. While we have been reviewing reading standards, (point of view, character traits, setting, theme, main idea and details, etc.) we have also been learning about how the economy works.
Students will create a product to sell for "dolvin dollars." Teachers have already been handing these out for good behavior. Students will also have the opportunity to buy products if they wish.
After reading the letter, please let me know if you have any questions.
Our Market Day Yard Sale will be May 22nd.
Reminders:
Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns by emailing me directly at [email protected]
From,
Hope Webster
